There are two types of unemployment in India: first, rural unemployment, second, urban unemployment. There are many reasons for unemployment like population growth, lack of capital, slow pace of development, use of inappropriate techniques, inappropriate education system etc.
Although many effective measures have been taken by the government in coordination to solve the urban and rural unemployment, this problem can be overcome only when the population is governed and the structural plans should be implemented towards the economic development of the country.
